Orphans---
(a child who has lost the care or support of parents)

Statistics today show that approximately 143,000,000 children are orphaned throughout the world. This number is almost equal to the population of Russia. As a matter of fact 2.2 are orphaned every second. Unfortunately, many of these children become abused, suicidal, prostitutes, slaves and many die. Stop and think for a moment, if a 5 year old child's parents were suddenly taken from them, what would they do without the care of someone. Have you ever found yourself in a situation you could not find answers to and cried out to God in desperation as your only source of survival? Without the peace and direction of God your survival would not have been possible. So what is this child left alone, without a father and no knowledge of a heavenly father, to do when they are hungry, thirsty, dirty, lonely, in need of a hug and acceptance? What if this child was your own? We are truly blessed! We are blessed to be a blessing and offer hope and help to the orphans.

Human Trafficking--
(illegal trade of human beings for the purposes of commercial sexual exploitation or forced labor; a modern-day form of slavery; and the fastest growing criminal industry in the world)

Shockingly 2,515 cases of Human Trafficking were opened from 2008-2010. 82% of these cases were sex trafficking (a girl under the age of 18) 87% were US citizens. In the State of TN alone 4000 cases have been uncovered. 46% are forced into prostitution. Between 240,000 and 325,000 are estimated to be at risk yearly in the US alone. 14,000 girls are said to be trafficked each year. These statistics are devastating. We see young girls losing the value in who they were created to be, giving in to what society says is acceptable (the desire to expose their body to bring pleasure to this corrupt world) Women & girls have lost hope in becoming anything more than an object to be used for personal satisfaction. We can assuredly blame the media for much of this corruption. The continued standards they try to impose on women today is unacceptable. As women and girls we are told value is in what we wear or don't wear, what we have or don't have physically, and what we do with what we have. This continual pressure wears down many to a corrupt lifestyle of sacrificing their God-given future and influence. Unfortunately, we see this number increase in girls who have been rejected by a father or male figure in their life. God created women to be cared for with tenderness and love. This is not the case for many and they often go in search of the only form of acceptance they can get which leads to self worth through self sacrifice. I am saddened and ashamed that Satan has so defiled the minds of man to place this form of slavery and bondage in the minds and bodies of women and girls. May God help us give these women and girls a reason to believe for more.
